As part of YOCOPAS Conference 2017 “Crossing Borders“ we are calling all young artists to participate in this contest and tell us with a photo what crossing a border means to them.

  • age: 15 to 19 years old.

  • location: Israel, Palestine and the rest of the world*

Photography requirements:

  • Answer the question: what does crossing a border mean to you?

  • author name and School

  • compatible format

  • taken between 2005 and 2017

  • Tittle and brief explanation of the artistic concept

  • Send the photo to yocopasinfo@gmail.com (subject: CONTEST) and the listed information.

Deadline: September 30th 2017.

Winners notification: October 10th 2017.

Winners Award: October 26th 2017. (YOCOPAS Conference Opening Ceremony)


  • First place: 2 admissions to the 2017 Crossing Borders Conference and 2 YOCOPAS t-shirts.

  • Second place: 1 admission to the Conference and 1 t-shirt.

  • Third place: 1 YOCOPAS t-shirt.

  • 3 Honorable mentions.

All will be given certificate according to award and participation.

*  EMIS stundents and the participants from international partner schools from YOCOPAS Movement that will participate in the 2017 Conference.
